Royal route through the forests
This route goes first through the polder, and then through the beautiful forests around Baarn, Soestdijk Palace and the Soesterduinen. Starting and ending at VVV Amersfoort. From April 15 to October 15, the first part to Baarn can also be done by bike boat (www.eemlijn.nl).
This route can be followed by means of the nodes and can be downloaded on a GPS device. The route is also in the booklet "Fietsroutes door Amersfoort en omstreken" which is for sale for € 4,95 at VVV Amersfoort.
Don't have your own bike? Then it is possible to rent a bike from one of the bike rental companies in Amersfoort and its surroundings.

3811 BH Amersfoort
You start on the Breestraat in Amersfoort. For the most part, the route follows the bicycle junction network. To get to the first node, follow the following directions:
- Drive out of Breestraat, and after the bridge turn left and immediately right again onto 't Zand.
- Then turn left again and immediately right, via Bolderstraat and Achter het Oude Weeshuis.
- Then turn left, and keep following Bloemendalsestraat.
- When you see the railroad tracks, turn faintly right into the Meridian Tunnel. After the tunnel turn left, then right into Hooglandseweg-Noord. Keep following this road, and when you cross the canal at the end, you have reached junction 83.
Follow the nodes 82 - 10 - 73 - 72 - 15 - 17 - 64.
At node 64, turn left to node 65 to admire Soestdijk Palace. Then return to node 64.
Then follow the nodes 63 - 90 - 98 - 97 - 62 - 26 - 61 - 57 - 58 - 59 - 60 - 99.
Then continue to the water, and there turn right. After a while you'll be back on the Breestraat!
