Especially for the explorers among us, Waldo takes you to the creative hotspot De Nieuwe Stad. He also browses among vintage on the Isselt and rises to great heights on the Wagenwerkplaats....

De Nieuwe Stad
Just outside the city center you will find De Nieuwe Stad. There you will find, among other things, the old Prodentfabriek, an industrial gem, where several creative companies are located surrounded by all kinds of nice restaurants. Also the music venue of Amersfoort, FLUOR, can be found in De Nieuwe Stad. Waldo visits art house Glue in this part of town. At Glue you can look at a special exhibition, follow workshops and with a bit of luck you will meet the artist himself, just like Waldo. ;)
The Isselt
Could you go a little crazier in terms of interior design? Waldo came across special items such as the telephone lamp above at VINT. One of the vintage stores in the Isselt industrial area. The old NS marshalling yard has been transformed into a vibrant and diverse part of Amersfoort. So you can indulge your cultural heart at Holland Opera, eat and drink at the Centraal Ketelhuis, among others, and challenge yourself at the Kei Boulderhal.
