Summer exhibition 'Look through the eyes of an animal'

This summer vacation, Het Groene Huis is all about animals. Marvel at the lives of animals that really belong in Amersfoort. Discover what they need to feel at home here. And how people can provide that and help many other animals.

'We want to live with nature and not at its expense. That is why we think it is important that the living space for trees, plants and animals grows along with the growth of the city.' This is stated in the environmental vision for Amersfoort that was adopted at the end of 2023. To ensure this, we are going to work on a Basic Quality Nature. But what does that mean? This visual exhibition takes you into the story behind the Basic Quality Nature. If we want to improve the city and its surroundings for animals, it helps us to look at our surroundings through the eyes of this animal.

Children can get started right away by looking through the eyes of an animal. They can go on a scavenger hunt around the estate, because which animals actually live here? And why? In short, worth a visit for young and old!
