Discover abc's in the form of males, hidden letters, arguing letters, word pictures and picture words and other linguistic geekery. For example, did you know that if you flip the word "cap," it still says "cap"? And that you can use the letters in the word 'butterfly' to draw a butterfly?

Hoeheettut is based on new texts and existing texts and drawings by Joke van Leeuwen, including 'Mooi boek' which was awarded the Zilveren Griffel in 2016. Joke van Leeuwen's books and life as a writer are the inspiration for the characters, costumes and scenery. In a collaboration between Joke van Leeuwen and director Lieke Benders, all of this has been adapted into a bouncy and colorful story for children who are just starting to read (6+) and anyone who loves language.
