Children's workshop Victory boogiewoogie

Around the jazz festival, the Mondrian House is hosting the themed children's workshop: Victory boogiewoogie.

Music can put you in a certain mood. It can make you happy or it can make you a little sad. Painter Piet Mondrian was inspired by different styles of music when he painted. By jazz, for example, and by the boogiewoogie. His last work of art is even called Victory Boogie Woogie.

During this children's workshop, together with the museum teacher, you will experience what it is like to paint to music. What do you paint when you hear a slow melody? And what if the music is very soft or loud? Different types of music will pass by and of course the rhythmic boogiewoogie!
