Splash, splash, splash. A dancer moves through the space. Not by herself, but followed by all sorts of colors of paint.

She sneaks, rolls and spins across a paper floor, leaving colored marks in red, blue, yellow and green. Slowly, a colorful painting emerges, made not only with brushes, hands and fingers, but with the whole body.

Is dancing drawing in the air? The physical way children draw inspired Gaia Gonnelli to make a connection between painting and drawing and dancing.

Dancing can be seen as a form of drawing - where the traces of the dancers remain invisible. To make the traces of movement visible, the idea arose to combine dancing and painting. KLeuR+ connects in form and content to the experiential world of young children, in which spontaneity and imagination play a central role.

In her work, Gaia combines dance with other art disciplines to inspire young children to use their own imaginations. Materials and primary elements such as shapes, colors and sounds play a central role.
