Muk (2+) | The Big Haay - Spring Outings

Muk is a Dalmatian puppy: you know, one of those dotted ones.He would prefer to have many more dots, or how about colored ones?

Muk experiences d(r)oldfoolish adventures in his own picture book series. He was in the picture book top-10 of the National Read Aloud Days and even had a musical adventure with the Dutch Philharmonic Orchestra.

In this interactive read-aloud performance, Muk and his friend Fly discover the world around them. With songs, puppets and lots of dots.

About The Great Haay

De Grote Haay was founded by Mark Haayema. In addition to being the artistic director of De Grote Haay, Mark is a writer, puppeteer and theater maker who creates visual, surprising performances for the entire family. Mark made among others the showsOma mag ik mijn pop terug?,Meneertje Meer, 1234 Poppetje van Papier, Johannes de Parkiet and Meester Kikker. As an actor and director he worked for Rotheater, Tg Winterberg, Percossa, the Residentie Orkest, PHION, Philzuid and Stage Entertainment. He also writes scenarios for Woezel&Pip, Pipo the Clown and songs for Kinderen voor Kinderen.

Spring Outings Festival
Where your love of theater begins
Visit an energetic, moving or special youth theater performance during this youth theater festival. Before and after the performance, you can draw, do crafts or reenact the performance yourself in our foyer. Spring Outings is a collaboration between eight theaters in the Utrecht region. A joint project of Stadsschouwburg Utrecht, Theater Kikker, Podium Hoge Woerd, De Lieve Vrouw, Bibliotheek Utrecht, Flint, Theater de Veerensmederij and Aan de Slinger. To let as many children as possible in the province of Utrecht experience the beauty of theater.
