On Sunday, September 8, children and their (grand)parents can enjoy another performance of Classics for Children. After a successful 2023, violinist Rossi Ovtcharova will continue with the musical fairy tales. The upcoming performances will take place in Theater Tourmaline in Park Randenbroek. The first fairy tale is called "The Bamboo Girl" and is a touching story.

'The Bamboo Girl' is small in stature, but has a big heart. She is a foundling who grows up with an old man and woman. They teach her to love, let go and walk her own path. The fairy tale is originally by Edward van de Vendel.

The fairy tale is vividly told by Monique Nusselein. Between the narration you will hear beautiful, classical music. Violinist Robert Cekov, accordionist Toni Pezzanov play the music live during the performance. The performance is suitable for children as young as 4 years old.

This performance is the second of the new season of "Classics for Children. Every first Sunday of the month, a new fairy tale will be performed musically. The fairy tales are a great way to introduce children to classical music. Because the story and the music alternate, the children and their (grand)parents are surprised by what music brings. The music comes from changing regions and eras.
