Start your visit with a fresh cup of coffee and Spakenburg cake in the museum café. Then step into Spakenburg life of 100 years ago on both sides of the Watersteeg: homes, a store, a farm with haystack and a smokehouse. See changing exhibits complemented by permanent presentations. Beautiful photographs and films give an idea of what it was like in the past.
Museum Spakenburg is not a collection of old objects but an experience of living history.
