A green oasis with a touch of Japan in the city

This park is a green oasis in the middle of the city, inspired by Japanese artist Ando Hiroshige. Covering an area of about 20,000 m2, the park is surrounded by water on three sides. Characteristic are the three red gates, a work of art by Alexandra Kolácková from the Czech Republic. The design is by West 8, a Rotterdam firm specializing in urban planning and landscape architecture, known for the urban plan for De Laak.
