Every Saturday starting at 11 a.m., the church is open to all.
It is important to us that the church is a place where people like to drop in. For the surprising silence in all the bustle of the shopping street, to light a candle for yourself or someone else, or just out of interest in old churches.
A host/hostess and guide will welcome you and provide information if desired. This team of guides consists of members of the Lutheran Church and other denominations in Amersfoort as well as volunteers with no church affiliation. All are interested in people and monuments. On a Saturday they receive an average of 50 people.
During the KunstKijkRoute, Vreemde Gasten and Gluren bij de Buren in downtown, the Lutheran Church serves as an exhibition site and concert space for various artists. And, of course, the church is also open during Open Monuments Weekend (the second weekend in October).
