Klein Zwitserland
What is a forest without trails? Right, just a collection of trees. So, with trails it became a recreational forest where you can still indulge today. And you can do that with a 3.5-kilometer hiking trail full of historical highlights, such as a burial mound and the Belgenmonument. Klein Zwitserland is a 36-hectare forest and is located on the southwestern flank of the Amersfoortse Berg. This park-like nature reserve is part of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. For nature lovers, there is a pool where you can find amphibians. Children can romp around in the nature playground near the water tower. There they can go on adventures, build huts and much more!
