Park Schothorst
Take a look in advance
In Park Schothorst there is a lot of space for sports, fun and nature. In the middle of the City Park are activities that are more respectful of nature, for example the allotments, nature education and nature recreation. Lands to the side of the park are paths for more intensive recreational activities such as sports and skating.
The Schothorst country estate was created in 1780. In the mid-19th century, a landscape park was created with a manor house, coach house and an orangery. A building in an English Landscape style. The current estate has a forest area, swamp, nature playground, lake, grasslands, avenues and fields. So plenty to see!
Park Schothorst is also home to several sports clubs such as Athletics Association Altis, Korfball Association Ckv Mia and Padel Association Padel33.
