Nature playground Limvioveld in Amersfoort

In 2018, the trunk of one of two monumental summer oaks broke at Limvioveld, a play area in Amersfoort. To ensure safety, a fence was erected around the trees. But, to make the site even more fun for the kids, a nature playground was built in 2020. Think tree trunks to balance on, a swinging rope over a ditch, and even a sand and water play area.

And coolest of all? Dave Harmsworth created four wood sculptures, including a giant viper and a giant ant, which now adorn the field. Unfortunately, the roebuck sculpture got a little damaged, but that doesn't make it any less fun to play!
