Architecture of Film #4 - Film-as-Architecture

Take a look in advance

Just as the architect builds her creations out of concrete, stone and glass, a director 'builds' not only with sets but also with the camera movements, editing, soundtrack and colors of his film. And even then, those cinematic spaces are not "finished": that only happens in the viewer's gaze and imagination.

Films as ingenious constructions of the mind is what this closing session is all about, with the filmmakers and the audience as equal architects.
