While filmmakers constantly refer back to contemporary or historical trends in architecture, they can also actually show architects the way. In what ways are architects inspired by film in their work? What do films show us of the architecture of the future? What makes a building so cinematic that it does need to become set or reality?
This meeting will focus on the endless and highly fruitful interaction between the two disciplines, from avant-garde urban symphonies to the eclectic utopia of Black Panther.
