Najib was born into a Moroccan family that settled next to a linoleum factory in Krommenie in the early 1970s. A life in the middle class was the obvious choice, but after high school he clearly wanted something else: public, stage and spotlights. In 1994 he graduated from the drama school in Utrecht and was ready to conquer the world. But the world was not yet ready for him.
He went from one audition to another and was eventually offered a role in a youth theater production. This turned out to be a good learning experience. After this he discovered the Comedytrain and began making short cabaret appearances. Dutch audiences were introduced to a natural talent. They saw someone who could hold a full house spellbound for two hours with stories from his own life.
With a sold-out Ziggo Dome as the provisional highlight up to three times. In this show, Najib goes all out to surprise you again and make his new characters legendary again.
