Anansi the spider - stronger than Elephant (4+)

Anansi has seen the tastiest bananas ever hanging in a tree. He climbs all the way up and then ... they are snatched right from under his nose by the strong, big Elephant. Anansi can't resist, he challenges her to a game of tug-of-war. The winner gets delicious fruit. Elephant doesn't say no to that, after all, she is the strongest in the forest. But of course, Anansi has thought up another clever little plan to fool everyone.

With ingenious scenery and sparkling music, you are sucked into the story. The setting changes from elephant to whale and from vast forest to Anansi's home, where he slyly tries to start a banana empire. But whether he succeeds...?

Kom naar een Surinaams feestje na de voorstelling! Direct na de voorstelling kunnen de kinderen in het decor op de foto, en het prentenboek waarop de voorstelling is gebaseerd is na afloop in het café te koop. Ook in het café: leer Surinaamse liedjes met zangeres Kate Sofie! Kom langs en zing lekker mee of schuif aan bij een van de knutseltafels. Het randprogramma is gratis toegankelijk, ook als je niet naar de voorstelling gaat. Dit randprogramma is een samenwerking van Jeugdtheater in de vakantie met De Zwarte Tafel.
