Theater icon Anne Wil Blankers, audience favorite Lies Visschedijk and insane talent Daniel Cornelissen (et al.) together on stage in memory play Galerie "The Waverly" by Broadway's most popular writer Kenneth Lonergan.

Gallery "The Waverly" is a powerful, poignant and often hilarious story about the last years of generous and talkative grandmother (Anne Wil Blankers). Still the owner of a small art gallery, she struggles with the relentless Alzheimer's disease.

The play tells of her struggle to maintain her independence and the effect of her decline on her family, especially her daughter (Lies Visschedijk) and her grandson (Daniel Cornelissen). Through his eyes, the audience sees the confusion and separation, but also the optimism and courage of his grandmother. More than a play about memories and loss, it shows the humor and strength of a family in crisis.

Gallery "The Waverly" hilariously and at the same time heartbreakingly makes tangible how a family is shaken to the ground and yet holds itself up to those same shaky people.
