Eindhoven-based Maria Croonen (1934 - 1998) turns her life of housewife and dental assistant around to become a self-taught visual artist. Slowly mother Maria transforms into artist Bram. Brammetje Cox lives for art, but at the same time is a single mother with four children. In her life Bram makes radical choices and they are not without consequences. In the performance Daniel and Karlijn look back at Brammetje's life. They enter into conversation with those involved at the time, but become increasingly entangled in a web of opinions and stories.
