International dance company Club Guy & Roni invites promising creators every year. This double bill (two performances on one evening) features choreographer Barnaby Booth and the duo Lunatics & Poets (Anna Jacobs and Hanna van der Meer). Both have previously made work for Club Guy & Roni.

Inspired by David Lynch's Twin Peaks as well as the fiction podcast Welcome to Night Vale - which is presented as a radio show for the fictional desert town of Night Vale, reporting on the strange events taking place there - Barnaby Booth creates a hopeful, humorous dance performance in which dramatic characters encounter themselves as abstract versions of their own inner motivations.

Kaputt in Hollywood - by Lunatics & Poets

Lunatics and Poets connects different disciplines and in so doing initates a diverse dialogue. In the new performance Kaputt in Hollywood, they explore the fascinating world of desire, building on the cinematic nature and non-narrative use of text of the earlier 2022 work Postcards from a Better Place.
