Gallery 1664
Located in one of the oldest buildings in Amersfoort, the gallery was crafted by the renowned Amsterdam architect Philip Vingboons (1607-1678). His achievements can also be seen on the Oude Turfmarkt in the heart of Amsterdam, where in 1642 he was commissioned by the regents of the Sint Pietersgasthuis to build nine buildings. At number 145 is an exact copy of the historic building.
Gallery 1664 changes exhibitions every 3 months or so. We exhibit classical and antique art in addition to modern sculptures and paintings. It is also possible to rent the gallery as an inspiring conference room.
