Men's Hall
The Men's Hall and Chapel of the St. Pieters and Blokland Guest House were already in use in the 14th century.
This is the only originally medieval guest house preserved in the Netherlands. One can experience how the residents must have lived and see how it really was around the year 1900. Initially, the guest house was only for the sick. Later it became an old people's home with a separate women's and men's section.
You can visit the Mannenzaal on request with a guide from Gilde Amersfoort. The Amersfoort Guides are also happy to lead you around this unique monument.
During the months of July and August, Living History takes place in the Men's Room. Role-players allow visitors to immerse themselves in the daily life of the nursing home anno 1907.
