SUSPENSE, WRITING & SMARTIES (10+)

Today is Halloween ... so horror, excitement and scary animals, for example, play the main role in this workshop. And you know what's so much fun? You are going to write an exciting story yourself! You can make everything as scary and exciting as you want. Are you someone of the scarier the better? Or do you want to build up the suspense through creepy events? You are going to make it up all by yourself.

In this workshop you will write your own exciting story together with (children's) book writer Eva Vleeskruyer. You will learn what writers do to make a story exciting. How do you build suspense? What is very scary and creepy? How do you describe the characters?

Eva helps you get started and you ... you write line after line until the suspenseful story is completely finished. In the end, you go home with a beautifully self-written suspenseful story that you can (read aloud) at bedtime... And then good night! Good night.
