Glass Fusion: Create a bowl or glass artwork

Making a bowl
Make your own bowl by cutting pieces of colored glass and laying them out beautifully your way. We work with different colors of glass. We also work with glass specials such as glass rods, glass beads and confetti. Once all your glass is laid down the way you want, your piece goes into the glass oven and all the individual parts fuse into a flat plate. Then the slab of glass goes into the furnace again, this time on a mold in the shape of a bowl. The sheet of glass sinks into the mold and takes the shape of the mold. The mold is removed and the bowl is finished. There are several mold shapes to choose from.
Scale size: diameter 25 cm.

Glass artwork
In this workshop we will sketch with pieces of colored glass. You will learn how to cut the glass into the shapes that suit you. Create a great color combination and lay it out to create an abstract or figurative image. We work with different colors of glass as well as glass specials such as glass rods, glass beads and confetti. The pieces of glass go into the glass oven and fuse into a flat plate. Beautiful to hang on the wall or in front of a window.
Various sizes possible, for example 25 x 25 or 40 x 15 cm.

Workpieces can be picked up at a later date due to oven firing time.
