You could encounter The Fortunate Sons from January 2024 on SBS-6, during The Tribute - Battle of the Bands. In the new season, twelve tribute bands will again reenact the greatest hits of their favorite artist to perfection, this time including The Fortunate Sons - Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute.

Proud Mary, Who'll Stop The Rain, Bad Moon Rising, I Put A Spell On You is just a small sample of the long line of indestructible classics that Creedence Clearwater Revival has to its name. With their distinctive sound and catchy songs, John Fogerty and his men managed to achieve unprecedented success in the '60s and '70s. Countless hit singles and an appearance at Woodstock were the result. The music of C.C.R. is remembered by many of us as the ultimate soundtrack to the illustrious '60s and '70s. The Fortunate Sons is reviving those times!

With their "Tribute to C.C.R.," The Fortunate Sons know like no other how to bring to life the atmosphere and feel of the '60s and '70s, the heyday of pop music. Singer and guitarist Toon Eppink, with his roaring voice and energetic performance, comes awfully close to C.C.R. frontman John Fogerty. Many have dubbed him "the Dutch John Fogerty". With the unparalleled swinging rhythm section of Arn Kortooms on bass and Ipo van Drooge on drums and the atmospheric interpretation by Jan van Bijnen on guitar and keyboards, the whole thing becomes a steaming party.
