The Brackman Trio consists of violinist Tim Brackman, cellist Kalle de Bie and pianist Rik Kuppen.
The Brackman Trio was founded in 2009. Through their successful performances at various competitions and two CD recordings (2010 and 2012), the Brackman Trio soon found their way to the various concert stages at home and abroad. The trio is now a much sought-after guest in various chamber music series, on live radio programs on Radio 4 and has performed at festivals such as the Orlando Festival, the Stift Festival and the International Chamber Music Festival Utrecht (IKFU). Their performance on the occasion of the IKFU 2020 was broadcast live by AVROTROS Radio.
Over the years, the trio has built a broad repertoire from early romantic to contemporary works. A frequent collaboration with composer Willem Jeths was the result.

In addition to the concerts at which they play by invitation, the members of the Brackman Trio also initiate projects and concerts of their own. In doing so, they like to seek out collaborations with fellow musicians, resulting in line-ups such as piano quartet or piano trio with vocals or clarinet. Besides their performances with the Brackman Trio, Rik, Tim and Kalle can regularly be heard as soloists and chamber musicians in various ensembles.
