Ndlovu Youth Choir - The Sound of South Africa

The choir began as an after-school program for young people from the South African township of Elandsdoorn, but gained international fame in 2019 through their participation in America's Got Talent. There they managed to make it to the finals with their own versions of international hits. Effortlessly, they combine traditional South African genres with pop, rock, jazz and EDM, leading to highly danceable covers of Toto's "Africa," Whitney Houston's "Higher Love" and Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You," among others.

Meanwhile, the energetic choir has already released three albums; more than enough material for a series of swinging concerts in the AFAS Theater!
