Viewing evening at the observatory Midden-Nederland
Sterrenwacht Midden-Nederland is organizing the first viewing evening of this season on Friday evening, October 4, 2024. With clear skies that evening you can enjoy stars, planets and the moon. Look at the rings of Saturn and the cloud bands of Jupiter with its moons.
During the viewing evening there will be several presentations about celestial bodies, black holes and the universe. You can also ask all your questions to members of the Observatory about the cosmos, telescopes and activities of the Sterrenwacht Midden-Nederland.
Information
The viewing evening is interesting for young and old. You can buy a ticket for one of the time blocks (maximum of 75 visitors per block). Admission is € 2 per adult and € 1 per child. The start of the viewing evening is at the Green House and several telescopes are set up at the Observatory building. You are welcome at 7:30 pm or 9:00 pm.
