Comedy evening: Davey Turnhout and Arjan Kleton

Every 1st Friday of the month: Comedy at Theater de Kamers.
Davey Turnhout & Arjan Kleton are not only good friends and regulars at the Comedy Café, they are also both going into theaters with a new show. On this Friday, they will play a double program together at Theater de Kamers. In two x 45 minutes you get to see the stand-up version of their new shows, they use this longer try-out to best prepare for the new theater season.

Raised near Leiden, Davey Turnhout is currently an import from Brabant.
He draws inspiration from his daily life and experiences. With his boyish appearance and laid-back demeanor, you would almost forget that he is someone with a black sense of humor. Davey's jokes are sometimes harsh, but always brought with a lot of love. He recently turned thirty, understands little of himself or the world around him, and for the past few years he has been on stage at night more often than at his girlfriend's house. In a full De La Mar Theater, Davey Turnhout won the jury prize of the 2019 Amsterdam Student Cabaret Festival, and now he's taking to the country with his debut. Davey Turnhout is a gifted writer of roasts.

Arjan Kleton
Bartender&Cabaret artist Arjan Kleton was dubbed "Netherlands' funniest bartender" in the press after the premiere of his debut show "Met de fles grootgebracht". This successful first program was immediately broadcast by BNNVARA.
Behind the bar Arjan Kleton has given many people a fun evening over the years and that is exactly what he wants to offer his audience as a comedian. No pretentious chatter, just a fun evening!

On stage, Arjan serves his audience a mix of recognizable stories, quick audience interaction, personal drama and, above all, lots of jokes.
Exactly one year after his first performance, Arjan Kleton won the Audience Award Talent Award at the renowned International Comedy Festival Rotterdam 2015. Furthermore, Arjan has been seen and heard on SBS6, BNNVARA, VPRO, ESPN, Omroep Gelderland, Radio Veronica and NPO Radio2, among others. He is a member of Knock Out Comedy Crew and performs frequently in his own comedy club.
