Mouna Laroussi | Delusion

In her new performance Waanzien, Mouna talks about looking, seeing and being seen, looking through glasses, peering, looking away and watching. We may still see each other, but often don't look beyond our nose. We put on our blinders. Look each other in the eye. And thus enlarge our blind spot.

Mouna shows that all that looking can lead to hilarious misunderstandings. She advocates keeping a loving eye on each other. Because you know: out of sight, out of mind.

In Waanzien, Mouna, her alter-ego Fatima and a motley crew of characters take a close look at various topics such as the refugee debate, parenting, migration, integration, discrimination and emancipation. All this in a multidisciplinary form with dance, movement and theater.
