Davor Stehlik belongs to the new generation of jazz musicians who are very active in the Dutch jazz scene. At the concert in Observant, the guitarist will present his most recent work, together with his quartet consisting of some of the most prominent young Dutch jazz musicians.

Davor's music is strongly rooted in the jazz tradition. Davor draws inspiration from many different places to write his music. Some of his musical heroes include Peter Bernstein, John Scofield, Wynton Kelly, Wes Montgomery, Chico Buarque, Cedar Walton, Larry Goldings and John Coltrane. The interplay of his band generates a sense of strong connection and musical unity that makes the music sound vibrant, fresh and "in the moment."
