Arthur & Friedrich: A Night in Bayreuth

This performance revolves around a theme that leaves no one unmoved: the suffering human being. Because despite our tireless search for happiness, people continue to suffer. Is this our inescapable fate or is there a way out? Hoping for answers (and a little comfort bitte), Emma and Dinda turn to the world of philosophy. Perhaps the gentlemen, Arthur and Friedrich, will know how to deliver us from this earthly vale of tears. But nothing could be further from the truth, and everything turns out to be even more tragic than expected. Or is it just a tragicomedy?

Schopenhauer and Nietzsche are diametrically opposed in a theatrical duel of words. Right through all the fiery arguments, we see two young women, Emma and Dinda, searching for answers. Even if the men had never given them the word (because "there is no woman who is virtuous," according to Schopenhauer).

After the success of La Grande Finale, Arthur & Friedrich is the second performance in Linssen&Provily's philosophy series. A performance that introduces you to the great philosophers Schopenhauer and Nietzsche. Emma and Dinda drag them onto the stage by their mustaches.
