Architecture of Film #1 - Introduction
Take a look in advance
From the early days of cinema, comparisons have been made between film and architecture. What do the disciplines have in common, and why, as the leitmotif of this course can be formulated, can film itself be considered a form of architecture?
In this first session, Kevin Toma will address the overarching theme of the course series and illustrate what architecture and film have to do with each other - using the confrontation between existing structures and cities and their (existing only on canvas?) film versions.
