The daughter of famed designer Gustave Eiffel, Claire sees her father's dream take shape in Paris. Having built the invisible skeleton of the Statue of Liberty, Gustave wants to create something through which the world will see him. With his gaze fixed on the top, Gustave seems blind to the sacrifices Claire is making to achieve this. She fears that after the death of her mother, she will also lose her father as he buries himself under his work. When her fiancé Adolphe also confronts her with the impossible choice, the question is how much man can bend before he breaks.

Meanwhile, anxious and amazed Parisians set their eyes on the 1889 World's Fair for which, on the banks of the Seine, rose the technical marvel of 300 meters of steel. That the city and later the world embraced this tower could only be because of love; the unspoken love of one man, cast in steel.
The musical "Eiffel" tells the story of a father and daughter who lose each other in building the future.
