Nature cruise on sailing monument

Sailing on a 100-year-old ship across the Eem. IVN guide Piet van Dijk tells about the Eem and nature along the Eem.

The Eem used to be a large swamp between Amersfoort and the Eemmeer and has been canalized by man in the course of time, since the Middle Ages. The banks of the Eem are home to numerous water birds and meadow birds. Did you know that over 40 bird species live around the Eem? There are also some nature reserves along the river. Pete will tell you all about it while you enjoy the view in the salon, on the aft deck or in the beanbags on the foredeck.
