A CULTURAL ADVENTURE - throughout Amersfoort
On Sunday, June 30, 130 gardens in Amersfoort will transform into cozy neighborhood theaters during the amateur arts festival Gluren bij de Buren. Local artists will showcase their talent in the city's green oases.
This year Gluren bij de Buren takes place in 29 cities throughout the Netherlands with as many as 4,200 performances in 1,400 gardens. In Amersfoort you can enjoy authentic performances and a snack or drink from 130 neighbors behind the fence. Grab a bike or take a walk from gig to gig and experience up to seven different acts.
A wide range of artists enter the neighborhood stages. Discover jazz bands by the pond, improvisational theater with pots and plants as a backdrop or dancers among the hydrangeas. Plan your route now on the website.
All performances last 30 minutes and take place between 1 and 6 p.m. You can attend them without reservations and on a voluntary basis.
