Every month we highlight a locally brewed drink. In both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic field, Amersfoorters know what to do. Whether you go for a delicious wine, a refreshing beer, a special cocktail or a special-fresh: in Amersfoort it is made! With this month's spotlight:

Mountain Pavilion Rosé

Created by: Theo Slotboom, Ed van den Bor, Domain de Marotte
To be found at: Bergpaviljoen Bistronomique & Bar (Utrechtseweg 180)

Ed van den Bor: "In our Bistronomique, we now serve fifteen of our own drinks. These range from different gins to an oyster stout and several organic wines. With summer days just around the corner, it's an ideal time for our white rosé. It tastes like wild peach, fresh apricot and almond. In addition, it is low in sulfites, meaning little to nothing is added to it. By the way, our range of in-house beverages is only increasing!"

100%

Theo Slotboom: "This organic rosé is a blend of grape varieties. It consists of 40 percent Grenache, 40 percent Cinsault and 20 percent Mourvèdre. We receive the wines from Domain de Marotte, an organic vineyard owned by two Dutch winemakers in Provence. Our intention is a fresh taste, but at the same time something more than fresh. This gives it a gourmet quality that makes it compliment dishes like leg of lamb from the BBQ or a salade niçoise."

Also delicious at home!

Ed: "Of course this rosé tastes extra good with the dishes on our menu or on our terrace. At the same time, both dishes and drinks can be ordered through our webshop. On www.bergpaviljoen .nl guests can pick up this wine at Bistronomique for 7.50 or have it delivered to their homes."
