A workshop for good reason, because what they make here is simply art! Everything is freshly prepared and made with love here at the Bread Atelier. Buy a sandwich to go or slide in and stay for lunch. Tip from me: the pastel del nata really fly over the counter like hot cakes. Want those? Come on time.
Dine at WestSingel or sample cocktails at WestWing
After a day of browsing around the museum district, you can have a delicious dinner at WestSingel. I would have loved to tell you exactly what you can eat here, but I can't. Because they have a surprise menu based on the seasons. Of course, you can always pass on allergies and other dietary requirements. I can promise you that it is delicious. Oh, and don't tell anyone, there's a secret cocktail bar somewhere around here called WestWing. To get there, you must first find the door and know the access code. So reservations are necessary. Once inside, you'll never want to leave, because it's a hell of a cozy place. And exclusive, too.
Eemcafé
Have a drink in the museum quarter in the historic Eemcafé building. All ingredients for a pleasant evening are present in this originally brown café: live music, bands, DJs, billiards, pool, darts as well as delicious drinks and snacks. The weekend opening hours say it all: from 4 pm to 3 am. Or as long as it's fun!
Mayor Brewer Plantation
To put in your calendar in advance. Every year the Burgemeester Brouwerplantsoen hosts some of the most visited events in Amersfoort. The legendary Kannen & Kruiken, foodtruck walhalla Lepeltje Lepeltje and the always fun activities on Koningsdag. Because culture is something you experience with all your senses.
Dara
At Dara you can relax on the terrace on the Eemhaven, but there is also a warm, cozy atmosphere inside. Dara has a nice menu of traditional and modern dishes. Tapas, anti-pasti or starters? Dara calls it mezzes. A nice amount with particularly delicious aroma and flavor combinations.
