In 2018, the Amersfoort-based Anna Yilmaz was the winner of the TV program "Heel Holland Bakt. On Koningsdag 2019, one of her cakes was cut by King Willem-Alexander and a few days before the orange party, she opened her own business in Amersfoort: Anna's Smaakatelier. Banquet bakery Maison Pierre has been in Amersfoort (on Leusderweg) since 1952. Want to spoil your family or friends during Koningsdag? Then you've come to the right place. A few days before and during Koningsdag they even have a special tompoucenkraam outside.

Happiness is not for sale, but a tompouce for King's Day is. And that's almost the same thing, isn't it? ;-) And that feeling of happiness is best experienced when you buy a tompouce at Bakkerij van der Meer. Those are so delicious! Besides orange tompouces, you can find orange chocolates here.

Do you live near or in Vathorst? Then you don't have to cycle that far to get a tasty orange tompouce. At Proof Bakery they have plenty for you. And if you want to put something else on the table, I recommend the carrot cake. It's a real treat!

Last but not least. The orange tompouce is a true classic at Banketbakkerij De Jong. The bakery has two locations in Amersfoort. On the Utrechtseweg and in Emiclaer. One thing is for sure: the birthday of our king they do not let pass just like that.
