This is where you eat the most delicious AMERICAN pancakes!

You know what they say about breakfast: it's the most important meal of the day. And what can you wake me up for in the morning? American pancakes, of course. These pancakes are a bit fluffier and thicker than our own traditional Dutch version, but *sigh* how delicious they are. In Amersfoort you can order them at several restaurants. In this blog we share some of our favorites....

1. HANA Coffee & Hotcakes

At HANA, they are inspired by different cultures. And you can taste that! What is special about this place is that you can order savory versions of American pancakes. They have pancakes with salmon, avocado or crispy chicken. As you can see in the picture above, the sweet pancakes also look delicious. On the left you see the one with banana and peanut butter and on the right with chocolate and banana. If that doesn't make you happy!

2. 30ML Amersfoort

You had me at bacon... At 30ML, they make delicious pancakes where you can add bacon into the mix. A win-win situation, right? They also often have a deluxe version. This is a special that often changes seasonally. The special at the moment: creamy white chocolate mascarpone, a delectable strawberry coulis and fresh seasonal fruits. Hmmmm that sounds very good!
