2. The Koppel Gate
The Koppelpoort is probably the most photographed spot in Amersfoort. And I totally get it. It is a beautiful city gate. It's also very beautifully lit after dark, so it's definitely worth coming back in the evening.

3. De Nieuwe Stad
De Nieuwe Stadcan be found northwest of Amersfoort's old city center. It is a creative area where local businesses and start-ups are located. You can find very cool graffiti in this area along with various creative initiatives that focus on sustainability.
4. Wagenwerkplaats
The Wagenwerkplaats is an industrial area west of Amersfoort's city center. You will find the emerging area next to the railroad. The area was a place where freight cars were maintained since 1904, but today you can find several companies in the former work buildings. Also here you can find cool street art for your Instagram photos
5. Tinburg
The Tinnenburg is a listed building. It was probably built as early as 1300 or 1400. It is a tall building that is beautiful from both the front and the back (which you see here). You can find the Tinnenburg near the Mondrian House mentioned above.
6. Muurhuizen
Amersfoort has several Instagrammable streets, but one of the most photogenic streets is surely .Muurhuizen. The street is full of beautiful houses with cute shutters and beautiful trees and plants.

The Eemhuis is Amersfoort's cultural center on the Eemplein. It is a special and striking building. Both the inside, and outside of this building is the ideal place for your snapshots.

Another museum that is very Instagram-worthy: Museum Flehite. The museum is housed in a beautiful building, or actually it is originally even 3 buildings, built in the late Middle Ages. I love the brown and white bricks and the red and white shutters. The best Instagram spot is on the bridge to the museum entrance if you ask me.
