After a day of shopping, there is nothing better than settling down to be pampered culinarily. In the Burgundian Amersfoort we have completely understood that. It is bursting with fine restaurants here. In the cozy keikwartier, with its winding streets, these are the places to cozy up.
The Streetfoodbar
For authentic Thai food you have to be at The Streetfoodbar on Arnhemsestraat. Their Pad Thai was voted the most delicious Thai dish in Amersfoort by the AD and radio Amersfoort! Also as a vegetarian and vegan you have plenty of choice here. Recently, in addition to vega dishes, they also have Montgomery's Ice Cream vegan ice cream. In the flavors Chocolate & Chunks, Maple & Pecan and Classic Vanilla.
Grand Café Sterijn
At the brand new restaurant Sterijn you can have lunch, dinner and drinks. They have small dishes such as carpaccio, ceviche and salads. If you come for dinner, you can choose main dishes such as flat iron, a burger or grilled cauliflower. Something on the side? Choose fries with rendang, parmesan or pullend mushroom, grilled vegetables or salad. Dessert on the side? They make my favorites there: crème brûlée and cheesecake. But you can also go for one of the coffees.
Peter & Selie
I know, this is a blog about food. But the eye wants something too, so I will start with the beautiful interior of Peter & Selie in the Koestraat. Because how wonderful it looks! Plants, green paneling and nice corners. It is bursting with atmosphere. And yes, the food is also very good with veggie, meat and fish dishes. Go and have a taste.
30ml Amersfoort
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. They think so too at 30 ml Amersfoort, on the Arnhemsestraat. And that is why you can have breakfast there all day long. From French croissants, American pancakes, tiny toast, sandwiches and some more elaborate breakfast dishes like burritos, they have it.
Buuf in the greenhouse
The Buufjes on the Little Hague 2 are known for their finger-licking-tasty pies. But you can also go there for savory lunch snacks. Like sandwiches, sandwiches, salads, hot or veggie dogs and oyster mushroom croquettes. And no one says you can't have a piece of pie afterwards, too. Deliciously do!
Did you know there are some fine shopping addresses hidden in Kei Quarter? I guide you there in this blog!
