The MEWA VathorstRun is an annual event where togetherness is paramount. Getting Vathorst and the surrounding area moving with walking and running.
The MEWA VathorstRun has several distances. Run 5 or 10 kilometers through the heart of Vathorst or participate in the 10 or 15 kilometer walk. For young sports enthusiasts, there is the KidsRun for all ages. There is a 350-meter, 1.1-kilometer lap and the 2.5-kilometer lap.
The start and finish location of the MEWA VathorstRun is the Disselplein in Hooglanderveen.
