Bosbad Amersfoort

The Bosbad is the large outdoor swimming pool in Amersfoort. Located in the beautiful Park Birkhoven, near The Amersfoort Zoo, the large swimming pool with slide can be found in the forest. Whether you like to swim laps, prefer lazing in the grass or going down the slide, there is something for everyone at the Bosbad.

 

FACILITIES

The Forest Pool has a 50-meter that is kept free in the morning for lane swimming. In addition to the 50 meters, there are two large pools in which to play. In these are shallower sections, there are water spouts and you can go down the big slide.

 

Toddlers have a separate area with several small pools with play elements and a sandbox to enjoy playing in. All in a jungle theme. Want to lie in the sun and relax? Around the pools there is a large meadow where you can lie down, play ball or volleyball.

When is the Forest Pool open?

The Forest Pool was recently renovated and is open again from July 29 through September. Important to note is that the Forest Pool only opens when the water temperature is at least 18 degrees.

Tickets

You must purchase your admission ticket in advance. This is mandatory and can only be done online! After payment, you will receive confirmation of your reservation by email. Take this with you when you go to the Bosbad and show it, because this is your proof of entry. You can book 3 days in advance.
