Observatory Central Netherlands
The Observatory is located near the Medieval Farm in Park Schothorst.
As an observatory, we are open to the public with some regularity. We organize fun lectures on a variety of astronomy topics and allow the public to look through our telescopes under guidance. Exact times are posted on our website in the calendar about a month before the lecture and are also communicated through social media and the local press.
During the winter season we are open almost every month with a lecture. This takes place on a Wednesday or Friday evening starting at 8:00 pm.
During summer time, we are occasionally open at times when there is a CNME activity in the park, or there is an interesting event on the sun.

In between, in summer or winter, our members organize activities. We also communicate this in a timely manner through the above mentioned channels. So simply keep an eye on this site and/or our social media Facebook and Twitter.
Every year we participate in the National Stargazing Days. These take place around March each year.
